Mozambique suffered a period of almost 30 years of war
interspersed with drought and floods.
Tourism had come to a standstill by the time the peacy treaty
was signed in Rome in 1992. The adoption of sound economic policies;
the opening of the country to tourism; kilometeres of magnificent and

The country has a coastline in excess of 2.700 km and constist
of 10 provinces. Tourism areas of greatest interest lie in and around
Maputo, Inhambane, Vilankulo, Bazaruto and Quirimba Archipelagos,
Nacala, Ilha de Moçambique, Pemba and Niassa.
